UCL Reconstruction

The Ulnar Collateral Ligament (UCL) is crucial for stabilizing the elbow during throwing motions, making it especially important for athletes. When this ligament is damaged, it can lead to significant instability and elbow pain, necessitating reconstruction. The UCL reconstruction procedure (Tommy John Surgery) aims to restore stability and function, followed by a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to return athletes to their sport safely and effectively.

Tennis Elbow

Caused by overuse and strain on the muscles around the elbow, Tennis Elbow (Lateral epicondylitis) results in pain and tenderness on the outside of the elbow. We offer a range of surgical and non-surgical interventions to alleviate symptoms and promote healing.

Golfer’s Elbow

Similar to Tennis Elbow but affecting the inside of the elbow, the Golfer’s Elbow is characterized by pain and inflammation. Our treatment approach includes both conservative measures and elbow surgery options if necessary, alongside a tailored rehabilitation program to ensure a full recovery.

Distal Biceps Repair

Distal biceps repair is a surgical procedure performed to reattach a torn or ruptured distal biceps tendon back to the bone. This injury typically occurs near the elbow and can result from sudden forceful movements or chronic overuse.

Elbow Arthritis

Arthritis in the elbow can be debilitating, leading to pain, stiffness, and a decrease in range of motion. We treat various types of elbow arthritis with a combination of elbow surgical treatment and non-surgical options, aiming to relieve pain and restore function. Our elbow doctor will guide you through the symptoms and progression of the condition, as well as the available treatment options.

Elbow Fractures

Elbow fractures can result from traumatic events such as falling on an outstretched arm, direct elbow impact, or joint twisting beyond its capacity. Surgery is necessary for displaced or open fractures to reposition bones and stabilize the joint using screws, plates, pins, or wires.

Elbow Injuries

Elbow injuries can occur due to various causes including trauma, repetitive movements, or overuse during physical activities. Common types of elbow injuries include fractures, dislocations, tendonitis, and ligament sprains.

Elbow Contracture

Elbow contracture refers to a condition where there is limited mobility or stiffness in the elbow joint, often due to scar tissue formation, prolonged immobilization, or certain medical conditions like arthritis. It can restrict the range of motion and affect daily activities unless treated through physical therapy, stretching exercises, or in severe cases, surgical treatments.

Little League Elbow

Little League Elbow, also known as medial epicondyle apophysitis, is a condition commonly seen in young baseball players, particularly pitchers, due to repetitive stress on the elbow during throwing. It involves inflammation and irritation of the growth plate on the inner side of the elbow, leading to pain, swelling, and decreased throwing performance.

Advanced Elbow Procedures

From arthroscopy, offering a minimally invasive look inside the elbow joint, to the precision of distal biceps repair and ligament reconstruction, our surgical techniques are designed for effective results and optimized recovery. Our dedicated postoperative care ensures you’re supported every step of the way back to full activity.
